New Chapter, New Collection: Introducing Books by Shann Readz

If you’ve known me personally, you already know writing and music were my first loves. Before the soaps, before the sessions, before the spiritual work — I was a storyteller.
That part of me never left… she was just quiet for a while.

But losing my sister Tamica brought that love back into sharp focus.

Tamica was an extraordinary writer — and listen, I know I’m biased because she was my sister, but I’ll say it with my chest: She deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as the greats.

She wrote poetry with the depth and softness of Maya Angelou, and the sharp brilliance of Nikki Giovanni. Her words carried soul, rhythm, truth, and a kind of magic that you don’t come across often.

When she passed, it was like someone dimmed a light in the world — and in me. But as I’ve been healing, I’ve also realized that honoring my own writing is part of honoring her legacy.

So today, announcing the Shann Readz Book Collection feels deeper than just adding products to a website.

It feels like continuing a lineage.
Like breathing life back into a gift we both shared.
Like saying, “Sis, your pen didn’t stop here. I’ll carry this part of us forward.”

If you’ve bought a book, shared a link, read a chapter, or even just whispered “I’m proud of you,” I felt that.
And I appreciate you deeper than you know.

This collection is just the beginning.

More healing.
